1-800-273-TALK Are you feeling desperate, alone or hopeless? Call the National
Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), a free, 24-hour hotline
available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Your call will be
routed to the nearest crisis center to you.
www.teenlineonline.org - TEEN LINE
is a confidential telephone helpline for teenaged callers. It operates every
evening from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and is toll-free from anywhere in California. If
you have a problem or just want to talk with another teen who understands, then
this is the right place for you! TEEN LINE also offers email help, online chat,
message boards, resources and information.
The TEEN LINE volunteers who answer the calls, emails and chats are Southern
California teenagers who have been specially trained. They won't judge you or
give advice. Their job is to listen to your feelings and help you to clarify
your concerns, define the options available to you, and help you make positive
decisions. No problem is too small, too large, or too shocking for the TEEN LINE
volunteers.

youth focused crisis prevention, suicide intervention and post-vention support
to the community through awareness education and outreach. Their philosophy is
simple; KUTO is teens helping teens help themselves.
www.providentstl.org - Life Crisis
Services is one of the nation’s oldest suicide prevention and crisis hotlines.
LCS operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Trained LCS
volunteers and staff members will offer you help and hope through referrals to
counseling and resources. Every day LCS crisis workers answer over 100 calls
from people of all ages and backgrounds. For help, call, any time 314-647-HELP
