EDUCATIONAL VIDEO - FREE FOR QUALIFYING MISSOURI SCHOOLS

The Megan Meier Foundation has been awarded funding through the Missouri Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to provide our educational video and supplemental curriculum to qualifying Missouri schools free of charge.

To qualify for this FREE program, your school must

  • be geographically located in the state of Missouri

  • serve students under the age of 18 years old, AND

  • at least 50% of the student body must qualify for free and reduced lunch

About the Video

Tina Meier’s life changed dramatically on October 16, 2006, when her 13-year-old daughter, Megan Taylor Meier, took her own life after a cruel cyberbullying hoax by an adult neighbor posing as a fictitious boy on MySpace.

In this anti-bullying video, Tina shares her daughter’s story while incorporating educational information on topics of bullying, cyberbullying, and suicide. Megan’s story has resonated deeply with students, parents, and educators and reminds us to think before we speak, click, or act.
